Disney on Ice

We were invited on Saturday to go along with Hannah & Alyssa to see Disney on Ice. We were VERY high up, but it was a great show.
One of Jack's favorites, Lion King.

Special treat for the night, snow cone in a Stitch cup.

Jack wanted to make sure we took a picture of Tinkerbell for Maddie.

All the characters at the end. Very fun!!

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Happy Valentine's Day! We spent lots of time this past week making all of our valentines and treats for the big day. Maddie wore her new dress to celebrate - thank you Nikki - it turned out great!!!
When Jack came home from school he broke out all of his letters - all the kids in his class this year were required to write a letter to each student in their class - valentines were optional. They turned out really cute.
Maddie found out that she did NOT like chocolates. This was her last bite - after this she would run away and spit if we would offer her one.

Jack also got a transformer (Maddie got a tinkerbell) for Valentine's Day from Mom & Dad. He wasn't the happiest camper here. Right before he came home he was sledding at daycare with his cousin and they had a major wipe out - his face is pretty skinned up. I'm guessing that will be the last of sledding for a little while! Happy Valentine's Day!!!

GO Packers!!!!

We put on our Packer gear and cheered hard....and then cried hard (Maddie had a lot of superbowl issues apparently) but were so excited for the win!!!

My big girl!

Today, a few minutes after I laid Maddie down for her nap, she snuck out into the living room with a huge smile. It finally happened. She figured out how to climb out of her crib. We converted her crib into a toddler bed tonight to be safe. She had a difficult time getting the concept of staying in her bed tonight. She would quietly tiptoe back out after being put back every few minutes. Somewhere along the way though she finally fell asleep.
I'm interested to see how the night goes...could be a long one!
