Thanksgiving & Sibling Love

Maddie's first Thanksgiving...she was a happy girl most of the day!

She found beads at Brenda's house - best toy ever....

Sorry about bringing the attention of the best toy ever to the boys....hope they got untangled and "usable" again!

Saturday we spent the day at home and Maddie and Jack played together all day.

Jack was pushing his dump truck around the house and Maddie kept crawling after him as fast as she could - I saw the opportunity for the photo op and thought I better take it now - couple more weeks and these thighs are not going to fit in here!

I love the cheesiness!

8 months

Maddie is 8 months!!! She has been such a good girl and so much fun. Her sense of humor has totally come out - she giggles at just about everything. She loves peek a boo and is quite the little animal lover as well - mostly just rips their hair out so they avoid her, but she can't resist.

She is constantly "walking" with the assistance of anything she can find - up here it's a tote...but it's usually little chairs or other toys that are big enough for her to just grab onto and push.

She also likes to creep along the table and couch - which results in an owie or two everyday, but I think she thinks it's totally worth it - the look on her face when she's standing up is pure joy. Every opportunity she gets she is up there and usually tries to squat up and down to play peek a boo or else is dancing. She's up to 24 pounds already!! She's quite the chunk, luckily it's cute chunk!

Fun with Allie

Allie (and Katie) stopped by for a visit with us on Wednesday. The girls are getting to play so good now...kind of. Maddie just mostly wants to attack Allie because she gets so excited. We did find out that Allie is a fan of Spongebob....sorry Katie!

4K is tiring work!

We had our very first official parent/teacher conferences this week. Jack got an awesome report from his teacher. Even comments that surprised us! Most impressive was the comparison in his coloring from just 9 weeks ago - you wouldn't know it was the same kid!

Fun in the Sun

Since it was such a gorgeous day again today, we tried to take advantage of it and had fun at the park.

She didn't get out of her stroller, but it didn't bother her. She was perfectly content to just sit and soak it all up.

Jack had the day off of school and I had off of work...wish all our days off together were this nice!

Our Fun Weekend

Maddie and I made a trip down to Union Grove to spend some time with Nikki and Addy this weekend. Maddie was particularly fond of Wrigley - just her size!

Maddie and Addy playing nice together. They also enjoyed their second shopping trip together yesterday at the outlet mall while the weather was so nice!

We were sad to leave :(

Pit stop in Oshkosh on the way home.... a poopy diaper and an empty tummy were calling!

Addy borrowed Maddie some of her toys she has outgrown. She is loving the jumparoo. We were also fortunate enough to borrow a whole entire semi-load of baby jeans (haha-just teasing Nikki)

Maddie was excited to get home and play with Jack again...she likes to attack him when he gets on the ground to play with her.
