Maddie is one week old today. We had to take her to the hospital again this morning for a jaundice/weight check. Her weight is still down about a pound from birth but her jaundice is a little better. She has been a very good baby, despite being spoiled rotten. One of these nights will be our lucky night when she will be able to be laid down for more than an hour at a time!

He is always a big help when we need him to keep her company for a few minutes to get some things done.
Sorry this one is sideways, but it was a funny picture at the time...the nurses thought this shirt would look cute on her but once it was on they thought they were going to have to cut it off - they didn't have to, but it was adorable.

Still no baby, but we are waiting patiently. Jack has been entertaining himself mostly by getting things ready...he's mostly perfected the swing - he has his baby in it here and knows how to use the controls on it better than I do.
Today at daycare, Jack was able to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. He made a clover necklace (which he has on here), dug for treasures (shells), had corned beef & cabbage (probably not, but supposedly that's what they were offered), and drank green milk. He was pretty excited about the green milk and told me as soon as he got home, but promptly asked for water, which never does....I think it freaked him out a little.
Tonight Jack's cousins Hannah and Alyssa came over to play for a while. Here are Jack and Hannah taking a brief time out from destroying his bedroom...
Suppertime is always interesting when they're together...not surprisingly, not much food is consumed.
On Saturday Jack won a bike at the fishing derby in town. We were able to trade it in today for one that was a little smaller so he has a good chance of being able to ride it by spring/summer. He was excited that it was just as "awesssssssome" as the first one was.
